"The 2022 Montlouis-sur-Loire Les Hauts de Husseau hails from a site with vines between 80 and 110 years old. It,s a finely scented, silken style that provides a mellow sense of effortlessness on the mid-palate before it structures itself toward the close. The chalky nature of the soil provides a fine coating of texture and structure, which adds persistence and line. It finishes long, calm and focused, with notes redolent of pastry, ripe apple and chalky citrus."
