• Red bitter aperitivo produced by Leopold Bros in Denver, Colorado
• 5 botanicals include grapefruit, coriander, petite wormwood, genepì, and gentian root
• Base spirit column distilled from potatoes, wheat, and floor-malted barley
• Individual grapefruit and coriander distillates are blended to create the base spirit and proofed down to ensure that color remains vibrant during the botanical maceration
• The remaining botanicals are macerated in the grapefruit and coriander spirit
• Sweetened using cane sugar
• Boldy leads with earthy aromas of gentian root, grapefruit, and coriander seed before transitioning to a vegetal palate of sweet alpine herbs, bitter gentian, and freshly squeezed ruby grapefruit juice with a long finish of candied grapefruit peel, wormwood, and dried red fruit
• Naturally colored using cochineal insect dye
