Review:
Medium ruby, the 2019 Zinfandel "Buck" Cobb Vineyard opens with wild tones of scorched earth, tar and graphite that give way to wild blackberries and apricot hints. The palate is impressive, intensely fruited but lifted, silky and fresh, and it finishes long with a tremendous flourish of peachy and floral perfume. It's youthfully coiled and hints at more to offer, so give it another 2-3 years in bottle. 1,260 cases produced.

Review:
The 2019 Zinfandel Buck Cobb Vineyard is bold, juicy and exuberant. Bright red/purplish berry fruit, spice, rose petal, lavender and mint fill out the layers. In tasting, the Buck Cobb is quite dense and succulent in feel at the outset, but then gains in both aromatic depth and finesse over time. Dollops of Alicante, Petite Sirah and Mataro round out the blend. I would cellar it for a few years. -- Antonio Galloni
