Vino Bianco 'Musco'

• Traditional Orvieto wine as it was in the 19th century
• From a single parcel of mixed vines at 350 meters above sea level
• Exclusively Procanico, Verdello, and Malvasia, a field blend of these varieties
• Sedimentary clay and limestone soils from 3 million years ago
• Harvested and vinified together
• Cellared in an ancient Etruscan tomb dug out of volcanic tuff
• Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts
• Fermented in an open chestnut cask for 4-6 days
• Aged in a chestnut barrel for 1 year, followed by 8 months in demijohn
• Bottled and sealed with wax by hand
• No electricity is used in the production of this wine
• 133 cases produced each year
