Vino Bianco ‘Musco,’ Palazzone
A single vineyard field blend of Procanico, Verdello, and Malvasia. Vineyards are rich in sedimentary clay and face eastward at 350 meters above sea level. Produced in a tuff cave that sits beneath a chestnut forest. The wine sits with the skins for 4 to 6 days in open vat chestnut wood. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Aging takes place in chestnut wood barrels for 1 year, followed by 8 months in demijohns. Every bottle is sealed by hand and numbered. 133 cases produced.
