Valdeorras Tinto ‘Pagos del Galir’, Virxen de Galir
100% Mencía produced from a selection of grapes from the Soutiño Novo and Valdemioto vineyards in Entoma. Soils in these steep (30% grade) vineyards are mostly slate. Hand-harvested with some cold maceration before fermentation and aging for eight months in a combination of French and American oak.
