Siembra Azul’s reposado bottlings are coveted items, and rightly so. The aging process is a unique one, serving as an analogy for the collaboration between two legends of modern tequila: Every batch is an individual blend of 50% tequila aged less than one year in the Vivanco family’s own ex-bourbon barrels from Kentucky, and 50% Siembra’s own “ex-tequila” American oak barrels, which have only ever been used to age Siembra tequilas exclusively, maintaining the specificity of their distillates and palate.
