This 2022, Batch 1 release is the first proprietary bourbon to be distilled and released by Castle & Key from the historic grounds of the former Old Taylor Distillery. With a mash bill of 73% white corn, 10% rye, and 17% malted barley, it was aged a minimum of 4 years (age statements will continue to increase with each batch) and blended from a batch of 80 barrels. A complex nose of honey, golden raisin, brown butter, orange blossom, toasted nutmeg, and stone fruit transitions to a palate rich with toffee, dates, and toasted almond, complemented by cinnamon and allspice on the finish.
