• Limited Release Speyside Single Malt Scotch from The GlenAllachie in Aberlour
• Part of GlenAllachie’s Virgin Oak Series, which sees Scottish Single Malt undergo additional maturation in specially selected new wood, each reacting uniquely with the GlenAllachie spirit
• Minimum 10 years old
• Whisky is first matured in ex-bourbon barrels then finished for approximately 18 months in virgin Chinquapin oak casks
• A nose bursting with orange zest, heather honey, and pecan paves the way for lashings of cinnamon, barley sugar, and toasted biscuits on the palate. Orange returns on the finish, complemented by rose hips.
• Non-chill filtered; 48% ABV

This exceptional malt gets its complex, zesty flavors from casks made of Chinquapin oak (Quercus muehlenbergii) sourced from the Northern Ozark region of Missouri. Chinquapin is a sub species of American oak (Quercus alba), delivering spicy flavors and aromas. Air dried for almost four years then toasted to medium level, these casks contribute a perfect balance of spirit and wood character.
