Salento Rosso IGT ‘Alberello’, Felline
The “Alberello” is a blend of equal parts Negramaro and Primitivo. The name is derived for one of the first methods of vine training, known in France as Gobelet, in which older bush vines are supported by wires to form a goblet like shape. The harvest typically begins during the first week September and is carried out completely by hand. The wine is fermented and aged exclusively in stainless steel.
