• Single barrel rye distilled by New Riff in Newport, Kentucky
• Selected by the Skurnik Spirits team and bottled exclusively for Skurnik
• Mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted rye, all non-GMO
• Open top, sour mash fermentation
• Twice distilled; the first run in a Vendome copper column still followed by second distillation in a copper continuous doubler
• Aged 4 years in 53-gallon toasted and charred American oak barrels
• Produced with water sourced from a high-mineral, limestone-fed aquifer located directly beneath the distillery
• Non-chill filtered; bottled at a cask strength of 55.8% ABV

The nose displays buttered biscuits, blackberry preserves, dried orange peels and dark chocolate. The palate is full bodied with a rich and oily texture. Flavors of orange AND lime zest, butter crackers, timber, cocoa powder, and a slight bit of green, dilly rye spice. All in, this is a fantastic showing of just how delectable New Riff ryes are at cask strength.
