"The 2018 Rully 1er Cru Les Margotés has also turned out very well, mingling scents of crisp Anjou pear and green apple with aromas of orange oil, blanched almonds and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, satiny but incisive, it's deep and nicely concentrated, with tangy acids and a mineral finish. As readers will remember, this site is the continuation of Grésigny but turns subtly toward the south, and it was planted in 1946."

"Les Margotés sits on an east-facing slope at 250 metres and is a relatively cool terroir in Rully. The Dureuil-Janthial parcel was planted in 1946 and has produced a wine that's wonderfully fresh, focused and complete, with beeswax and lemon butter flavours and crunchy, pithy, mouthwatering acidity. Always among the domaine's top whites."
