Review:
Yet again, this Pinot rosé delivers both pleasure and complexity far above its stature as an inexpensive generic. (I’m reminded in those respects of Marc Angeli’s rosé.) Scents of cherry blossom, red currant and citronella set the stage for a juicy, silken midpalate and a lusciously lingering finish featuring undulating layers of red currant, ripe fresh tomato and liquid floral perfume. A tomato seed tang helps offset the usual slight sweetness of this cuvée.
