Rosé 'Cul Sec'

Rose Cul Sec DuPuis Wines

‘Cul Sec’ Rose is a saignée made from a co-fermented blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Pinot Meunier. “Cul Sec” means “cheers” and refers to the bottom of your glass being dry. After crushing the grapes to tank a portion of is transferred to cement eggs and neutral french oak barrels. Primary and Malolactic Fermentation occur spontaneously by native yeast. The resulting rose possesses a subtle pink hue with aromas and flavors of wet earth, pomegranate and cherry. Crisp and vibrant with sound acidity and slight effervescence from CO2 make this a great wine for the warm days of summer.
