Riesling 'Poet's Leap'

Vibrant and enticing aromas of stone fruit, jasmine blossoms and an appealing minerality emanate from the glass. Layers of white peach, juicy kumquat and apricot flavors develop on the palate then give way to a balanced natural acidity that lingers across a long, satisfying finish.

The 2021 Poet’s Leap is sourced from old vine Riesling grown at Sagemoor’s Gamache Vineyard. Planted in the mid-1980’s, this is a cooler site than other parts of the Columbia Valley. Riesling grown here is notable for its beautiful acidity and appealing citrus character. A small amount of Bacchus Vineyard and Yakima Valleys DeBrul Vineyard Riesling round out the blend, adding minerality and an attractive stone fruit character to the finished wine.
