Ribera del Duero, 'Malleolus de Valderramiro', Bodegas Emilio Moro
Valderramiro is one of two single-vineyard offerings from Emilio Moro. It is made exclusively with grapes from the Pago de Valderramiro vineyard, which was planted in 1924. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is transferred to American oak barrels, where it undergoes malolactic fermentation. It is then moved to new French oak barrels for 18 months of aging. Only 6,000 bottles are produced per vintage.
