• 100% Champagne clone Pinot Noir planted in 1972
• Purchased by the Cavallotto Family in 1989 when they acquired the Vignolo cru
• 1.68 hectares on the north-eastern slopes of Vignolo between 260-310 meters above sea level
• Organically farmed
• Calcareous clay soils with veins of sand running through
• Fermented without the skins and aged in stainless steel, rested on the lees for 9 months before release
• Often shows a slightly rosé or onion-skin tone color
• Partial malolactic fermentation
• 889 cases produced in 2020
• The name “Pinner” comes from PINot NERo!
