"A young and vibrant expression of the Burgundian grape, the Abbazia di Novacella 2021 Alto Adige Pinot Nero shows redcurrant, delicate rose, honey and candied violet. The wine's personality is fragile and light, with a very streamlined performance. The wine sees 15 days of skin contact in stainless steel followed by malolactic fermentation and aging in large oak casks. Fruit comes from vineyards in Appiano (from 350 to 420 meters in elevation) with reddish, fine-grained soils made with porphyry rock. "

"An elegant red, with a pleasing, crisp orange peel acidity that works well with the creamy flavors of strawberry preserves, dried thyme, hot stone and ground white pepper. Drink now. "
