"The Köfererhof 2018 Alto Adige Valle Isarco Pinot Grigio opens to tonic and zesty aromas of crisp apple, lime and tropical fruit. The wine shows a lot of fruit detailing (compared to your standard Italian Pinot Grigio). This expression is without those aromas of dry grass and hay that you sometimes get with the grape. Instead, it offers plenty of white peach and a touch of honey to the palate. Aging takes place in both stainless steel and oak, and the fruit is drawn from a small 1.5-hectare vineyard nestled very high up in the mountains. Production is 12,000 bottles."
