Review:
Scents and juicy abundance of pit-tinged apple and seedy strawberry are tempered by underlying stoniness, and the finish is bell-clear, with an irresistible combination of lift, refreshment and invigoration. At 35 grams of residual sugar, this bottling reflects Schneider’s admirable determination to give his “sweet” wines less-obvious sweetness than they tended to have six or eight years ago.
