Alzinger Ried Loibenberg Smaragd Wachau Grüner Veltliner
Located on the Danube Bend between Dürnstein and Weissenkirchen where a noticeable cool air comes in from the northwest. Amphibolites and mica schists replace gneiss as the dominant source rock. The style changes with the terroir. In the upper part of the Liebenberg, where the vineyards are located, one has to do with tight and compact structures, the lower part seems a bit wider and denser.
