This is the old “Kammern Heiligenstein” wine, which was discontinued in 2014 as it was way too confusing to have a GV and a Riesling with such a similar name. So, Johannes made the concession, is calling this a village wine, as it ought to be, but the sources – Renner, Grub, Lamm, Kammerner Gaisberg – are the same. Excellent vineyards, together to form a wider angle look at this part of the Kamptal.
The loess and loamy soils that lie on the outer rims of Kammern, the traditional wine-growing village, are among the most fascinating terroirs in Kamptal. They gives our wines great aromatics with spicy and supple taste. Great food wines!
