"The Abbazia di Novacella 2021 Alto Adige Valle Isarco Grner Veltliner is an open-knit white with peach, pineapple and baked apple. This medium-weight wine closes with a silky texture and a lean finish. Three-quarters of the must is fermented and aged in stainless steel and one-quarter goes into large oak casks. The vines are rooted in glacier soils with quartz and other mineral deposits. "

"Aromas of canteloupe, Granny Smith apple and smoke follow over to the vibrant palate along with lemon drop, white pepper and wild herb. Bright acidity and flinty mineral notes impart fabulous energy. ‡ Kerin O,Keefe"
