London Dry Gin, Portobello Road

In the trendy London district of Notting Hill, Portobello Road is home to one of London’s—and the world’s—most iconic markets. In this district, nestled away above a 19th century public house on Portobello Road, London’s second-smallest museum, dedicated to gin, was established. It was here, at The Ginstitute, that the founders, Jed, Jake, and Paul decided that the experience would only be complete with the production of a gin that could call The Ginstitute home. Nine months of experimentation led to Portobello Road No 171 Gin.

Tasting Notes

Portobello Road begins with wheat that has been grown and distilled in England and nine botanical ingredients from around the world. Bottled at a punchy 42% abv, these ingredients combine to create a uniquely versatile gin with primary flavors of juniper, citrus, and coriander. This is a London Dry robust enough for modern cocktails while possessing the elegance necessary for a classic Martini.
