A very strong, basic riesling with a generous, peachy nose and a fleshy palate. The moderate acidity is exactly enough to balance the fullish body. The spot-on balance at the finish makes it extremely food friendly. For spicy, East Asian cuisine, too. From organically grown grapes. Fair'n Green certification. Drink or hold. Screw cap.

Scents of apple and white peach wreathed in clover and apple blossom anticipate the generous juiciness, crunch and subtle inner-mouth floral perfume conveyed on a polished, subtly glossy palate. Hints of stone add modest intrigue to a satisfyingly-sustained and highly-refreshing finish. Sourced as usual from his extensive holdings in the Herrenberg, this represents Künstler’s generic Gutsriesling as bottled in 750 ml format.
