Dolcetto di Dogliani 'Vigna dei Prey', Francesco Boschis
100% Dolcetto planted in the Prey cru in 1990 & 1992 at 500-530 meters in calcareous clay soils with southwest exposure. Alcoholic fermentation and maceration on the skins for 7 days in stainless steel followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine matures for 1 year in tank before bottling. Boschis owns 1.7 hectares of vineyards in Prey from which he makes just under 500 cases of this wine. The first vintage was 1983.
