A rarity in Guerrero, this Agave angusitfolia is identified as Espadín (more often associated with Oaxacan mezcal). Rich and compelling, this batch is as unique as its nomenclature, with aromas that range from bright vegetal vibrancy to decadent creamy depths. A confounding pleasure, this particular expression likely won’t be seen too often from the brand!

Tasting Notes
A rarity in Guerrero, this Agave angusitfolia is identified as Espadín, often associated with Oaxacan mezcal, rather than Guerrero’s more common local angustifolia subspecies, Zacatoro, which prefers the state’s cooler climate. A rich and compelling example, this batch is as unique as its nomenclature, with aromas that range from bright vegetal vibrancy to decadent creamy depths. A confounding pleasure, this particular expression likely won’t be seen too often from the brand—grab it while you can!
