"The 2020 Crozes-Hermitage 'Domaines des Lises bottling from Marcel Graillot and Thomas Schmittel is a fine bottle, coming in at thirteen percent octane and offering up a deep, sappy and complex bouquet of sweet cassis, hung game, bonfire, black pepper, chicory and dark soil tones. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and nicely broad on the attack, with a sappy core of black fruit, good soil signature, ripe, buried tannins and fine length and grip on the focused and nicely balanced finish. This is starting to drink very nicely already, but has the underlying structure to also age quite gracefully over the medium-term. 2023-2040+."
