Cinsault, Myburgh Bros.
Cinsault from Klipdam farm: 20 year old, dry-farmed, bush vine vineyard planted in finely textured, decomposed sandstone. Grapes were partially de-stemmed (66%) and the remainder fermented as whole-bunches. Fermentation took place in open-top fermenters. Aged 10 months in old oak barrels before bottling. No additives apart from a minimal amount of sulfur were used. 12.5% ABV.
