Barrel-Aged Iscider, Brannland Cider
Every year Brännland Cider sets apart some of its ice cider for barrel ageing. After 12 months on used oak barrels from European top domaines like Château D’Yquem and Domaine Romanee Conti the ice cider is bottled. The barrel ageing imparts a deeper integration between the residual sugar and acidity of the cider and a slow oxidation creating a darker ice cider edging towards a more traditional grape based dessert wine.
