Review:
L’Huisserie vineyard is full of silex (limestone and flint). Aged one year in older barrique, then in cement for six months. Dark purple. Brighter than 2017 — if 2017 is autumnal, then this is Indian summer. Nose of plum, smoke and a bit of leather. On the palate, black cherry and black olive, with great juicy acidity, muscular tannins and a peppery, dark mineral finish. Forthright, transparent, honest. Great value.
