DuPratt Vineyard was planted in 1916, and is currently farmed by Dave Arrieta. The chardonnay blocks were added in 1981 and these old vines in sandy soils provide concentrated citrusy flavors with lemon curd and a chalky persistent finish. This wine can be enjoyed now for its racy mineral vibrancy but will certainly age for 10-15 years for those who enjoy their chardonnays with some age.
