Review:
Based on Pinot Meunier complemented by 5% Pinot Noir, all of which grows on the green clay soils that lend this cuvée their name, Moussé's 2013 Brut Blanc de Noirs Terre d'Illite was disgorged in July 2018 with five grams per liter dosage. Bursting from the glass with an inviting bouquet of honeycomb, dried white flowers, red berries, pear and wheat toast, it's medium to full-bodied, with a ripe but racy core of fruit that's complemented by a pinpoint mousse, concluding with a penetrating, saline finish.
