Review:
Appropriately for a domaine based in Morey-St-Denis, the Arlaud holdings are in the most northerly Premier Cru in Chambolle-Musigny and date back to the 1950s. It's a textbook example of the latter village, all finesse, aromatics and fine-grained tannins, with some sappy, spicy notes from 30% whole bunch fermentation, refreshing acidity and understated oak.
