Brunello di Montalcino ‘Poggio Cerrino’, Enzo Tiezzi
The Cerrino vineyards are approximately 3 kilometres from Montalcino, to the north-east, at a height of 350 meters above sea leve. The fruit for this Brunello see an extended maceration on the skins during fermentation, resulting in a complex wine with high levels of extract and body. Maturation lasts some 4 years, 3 years of which are spent in Slovenian oak casks.
