Brunello di Montalcino, Castello Tricerchi
100% Sangiovese from 15-year-old vineyards located at 300 meters above sea level. The vines are planted to soils dense in calcareous clay and sand and have a southwest exposure. Harvest took place at the beginning of October, with maceration and fermentation occurring over 14 days in stainless steel. Wine is then aged in 15-20 hectoliter Slavonian oak casks for 42 months prior to bottling.
