"The 2020 Riesling Bönnigheim Steingrüben GG is from reddish sandstone soils (Schilfsandstein) at 300 meters above sea level and offers a pure, fresh and still tight, lean, limey and herbal-scented bouquet without any generosity but lots of terroir-driven puritanism. Vivacious and even racy on the palate, this is a dense, lush, intense and very elegant dry Riesling in an embryonal stage. The finish is intense, dense and long, so there are no serious doubts about the aging potential of this highly promising Riesling. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in April 2022."
