Barolo ‘Mosconi’, E. Pira Chiara Boschis

Sourced from a 0.8 hectare plot within the Mosconi vineyard in Monforte d’Alba. The average vine age here is 50 years old, all located at 370 meters above sea level with a south-facing exposure.  After a two-week fermentation, the wine is then aged in lightly toasted French oak  (1/3 new, 1/3 second use, 1/3 three+ uses) for 24 months before aging an additional year in bottle. 800 cases produced.
