Barolo ‘Rocche dell’Annunziata’, Revello
100% Nebbiolo from .2ha planted in 1960 to calcareous-clay soils at 270 meters above sea level. Fermentation and maceration with the skins in steel tanks with frequent pumping over of the must for approx. 6 days, the alcoholic fermentation is completed in steel tanks for 10 days, malolactic fermentation in barriques. The wine matures in French oak barriques (50% new – 50% old) for 24 months, bottling in July of the third year after the year of the harvest, the wine is released in March of the fourth year following the year of the harvest.
