Barolo ‘Margheria’, Luigi Pira
100% Nebbiolo from 56 year old vines – Pira’s oldest holdings – grown in calcareous clay soils. Maceration on the skins for 6-7 days in stainless steel vats. Maturation: 75% in 25-hectoliter Slavonian-oak barrels, 25% in French-oak barriques for 24 months.
