Barolo ‘La Serra’, Mauro Molino
100% Nebbiolo from the ‘La Serra’ vineyard, planted in calcareous clay soils. The grapes are macerated on the skins for nine days in stainless steel tanks. Alcoholic fermentation also takes place in stainless steel over 20 days; malolactic occurs in French oak barriques. The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barriques, followed by four months in bottle.
