Barolo ‘Giachini’, Revello

100% Nebbiolo from 1ha planted in 1954 to calcareous-clay soils at 270 meters above sea level. Maceration with the skins for 4 days followed by a 10 day fermentation in stainless steel. The wine matures in French oak barriques (50% new, 50% used) for 24 months.  It then rests for six months in the bottle before release.
