Barbera d’Alba ‘Serraboella’, Cigliuti
100% Barbera from a few small parcels in the Serraboella vineyard in Neive. Vineyard is located at 350 meters above sea level, with soils rich in clay and southeast-facing vines with an average age of 25 years. Fermentation and maceration takes place over 8-12 days in steel vats at controlled temperatures with indigenous yeasts. Wine is aged for 18 months, partly in large cask and partly in second and third passage barriques. This bottling was first produced in 1964.
