"The VORS certification (Very Old Rare Sherry) implies not only the age of the wine, but also its quality—both of which are evident in this Amontillado. Selected by capataz Manuel Lozano from among the oldest wines Lustau tends in the city of Jerez, some of them more than 30 years old, this is a radical wine, not recommended for sensitive souls. Only salt and iodine notes fill the flavor, intense minerality emanating throughout the wine with the power of a volcano erupting. Rustic in texture, generous in body and deep in marine flavors, it’s breathtaking."
