Vinedos do Gabian

Viñedos de Gabián is a new, small project from Raul Perez’s long-time assistant winemaker – José “Pepiño” Pereiro López-Quecuty. Pepiño works a single 3-hectare terraced, amphitheater-style vineyard named “Gabian” that he planted in 2011 by himself. He also purchases fruit from local growers that make up a substantial part of the cuvee while his vines reach maturity. The soil is granite sand, the farming is organic without certification, and the winemaking is traditional.
